What I've learned
Don't be afraid of engineer pushback: Before launching the double-click to like feature, I proposed to my mentor that could the heart shape become a little Christmas tree since the holiday season is coming, my mentor approved my proposal but the engineer thought that it would cause extra engineer efforts. So we conducted an A/B test, and the idea I proposed increased the likes. Finally, we launched it and received good feedback! I've learned that pushback is very common in the workplace but what's important is how we resolve the problem and move the product forward.
